At our session on November 16th, 2019, Pete Martin brought a range of rackets to demonstrate and many players enjoyed trying different ones.
Pete also posed the question ” How many British players entered the first round at the Yonex All England Championships, held in Birmingham in March 2019?” The maximum number of players in round one is 256 (32 in each of the MS, WS, and 64 in each of MD, WD and XD). They come from across the world and there were just 10 from the UK, see list below. 45 players submitted an answer and Eesha Khurana was the clear winner . Eesha is shown here with her prize, a Yonex racket donated by Pete & Central Sports.
