The Rugby Youth Badminton Squad ended the season on a high note with two exciting team doubles tournaments held at 10:30 AM and 11:30 AM. Each event saw teams of at least four players competing in fast-paced matches filled with enthusiasm, teamwork, and great sportsmanship.
10:30 AM – Mark Gallagher Memorial Trophy
Congratulations to the Blue Team — Nikhil, Skye, Surya, Naina & Mavin — who claimed the Mark Gallagher Memorial Trophy with an impressive 177 points!
Second place went to the Red Team — Haziq, Nandita, Peehu, Renu, Samhith & Tehara — with 147 points, closely followed by the Green Team — Abhiram, Ellie, Jewel, Sana, Sreeram, Thinuga & Unnathi — finishing on 130 points.
11:30 AM – Gloria Hudson Rosebowl
In the later session, the Red Team — Sidra, Ana, Dhruv & Nitesh — clinched the Gloria Hudson Rosebowl, narrowly edging out the Orange Team — Ethan, Kavin, Lauren & Sushanth — by just 1 point.
Third place went to the Blue Team — Anish, Samuel, Shreekhar & Tehari — with 113 points, closely followed by:
- Pink Team – Chanu, Joel, Hasini, Jashith (112 points)
- Green Team – Dhanvitha, Gagana, Nikhil & Theja (106 points)
- Yellow Team – Hurshitha, Rhugved, Ronav & Shayni (87 points)
- Purple Team – Ellie, Harsha, Rikza & Vrin (84 points)
Both tournaments were played in fantastic spirit, showcasing not just talent and skill, but also true camaraderie and sportsmanship.
